Pauline Studies
June 2008 - June 2009 is the Year of Paul, as proclaimed by Pope Benedict XVI. This year, rediscover the apostle who introduced the world to Christ. Learn more about the apostle Paul and join in the celebration of the 2,000th anniversary of his birth with our selection of Bible Studies.
Foundation Studies
These studies shape the basic components of faith and introduce adults to a variety of literary styles found in the Bible. This is the perfect starting point.
Gospels
Each Gospel is a unique portrait of the life and ministry of Jesus. The Gospels are vital to forming disciples and communities of faith in every generation.
Old Testament Writings
These studies explore our roots in the covenants formed between God and the chosen people. The cycle of bondage, freedom, sin, and repentance offers lessons to all believers.
Early Church Writings
The first generations of believers offer their reflections on the life of Jesus, the meaning of discipleship, and the challenges of living in community.
Thematic Studies
Drawing on important topics and figures found in Scripture, these studies use passages from a variety of biblical books and offer a fresh way to experience the Good News.
Video-based Courses
Video-based courses offer valuable and wide-ranging information about two different biblical topics. The video is itself the commentary, and each session includes prayer services, video lectures, and discussion.
These courses may be used in either four 2-hour sessions or eight 1-hour sessions.
What You Will Need?
The use of each video-based course requires:
Video Lectures
one Leader's Guide for each facilitator
one Participant's Book for each participant and facilitator (containing prayer services, outlines of each lecture, and questions for home study and group discussion)
